Nintendo amiibo Talk

I did see a clip of bayonetta 2 in which ur one of those star fox xwings. plus, there's like a mario costume in it somewhere. it's difficult for me to play anything but platformers these days though.

I've played several hours of xenoblade. I had beaten most of the side quests up to the point that I'm at. there r so many side quests in fact that normal enemies had become really easy. did u ever play xenogears or xenosaga on the playstation? I remember xenogears well, but about all I remember about xenosaga is the villian rubio and that mini-game in xenosaga 3 in which u have to get the character from the starting point to the end captain toad style.

not sure if ur aware, as I mentioned this to Joonie, which he had already done, but since the wii-u uses an auto-update feature, u can block updates if u plug in the tubehax of the 3ds' ip address into the primary and secondary dns. the keys for the latest 5.5.1 were released a few days ago, so before Nintendo patches something, it might be prudent to do. the wii-u ios hack is supposed to be released within the next week or so, so best to be ready in case an update happens while ur at work or something.

the ip address is: 107.211.140.065. u should get an error when trying to connect. it blocks both the update servers as well as the eshop.

thanks tthousand , I actually have mm 1-6 on my Majora's Mask new 3DS. and, I have the legacy collection on my ps4. I've beaten every robot boss in each game in that already. :) I'll see if there's some way to get the gold mega man amiibo by itself. mega man is my favorite video game character. in fact, I was going to buy decals of every mega man boss up to 10 to decorate at the crown of my bedroom, but that didn't go through with the seller. plus, people might think of me as a nerd. ;)

Bayonetta 2 is actually supposed to have a couple of Nintendo themed outfits, which someone Nintendo supposedly told Platinum Games to make them as sexy as they could (must have someone at NOJ who said that). I believe there is Star Fox, Link, Princess Peach... and possibly a Metriod?!?! Not sure about that last one though.

And I take it you meant Xenoblade Chronicles and not Xenoblade Chronicles X. I am assuming you still have not started the latter. I believe I have Xenogears on my PS3, but have not played much of it (perhaps 30 minutes or so). I might have tried a little but of 3 at one time or another, but I possibly could be confusing that with another game.

I got my Skell License last night in XBX though :D After I got it, I was planning on going to sleep. I ended up staying up for another couple of hours just exploring the world. Good thing it comes with insurance though :p I already blew it up 3 times which is all covered by the insurance... next time the repair cost is gonna have to come out of my pockets :( I am kinda of scared to take it out at this point, at least until I level up two more levels and can buy more Skells.

You really get an idea of how big this game is once you hop into your Skell. It is hard to put into words just how cool it is to get your Skell in this open world RPG. You really feel like you can go anywhere and do anything (which obviously you cannot do everything, hence my Skell blowing up 3 times LOL).

I think you really decide how hard, or easy, that you want this game to be. The side missions don't level you up much, but they give you good gear. If you want to level up, you gotta go out and beat up the local wildlife. And you can run by most of them, and sneak by the rest. You really can try to beat this game at low levels if you wanted more of a challenge. Basically, if you feel like you are too strong in this game, you could just run by all the enemies and focus on the story aspect. Also, the game caps you off at level 60, and the enemies go all the way up to level 90+, so there is always a challenge to be had.

I still have not done anything with my 3DS. And I do not know if I want to do anything with my Wii U. I kind of like being able to have OFW consoles, and backup modded consoles. I am really considering picking up another Wii U to mod, and also I really want the New 3DS XL... if I ever get that I would have no problems modding the older, smaller 3DS. I assume once I mod the Wii U or 3DS, using their(Nintendo's) features will be out of the question, right?

And lastly, good luck with the gold Mega Man. I have not heard of any other way to get it besides buying the collector edition of MM Legacy Collection. You will probably need to buy it off of someone who bought the package and wants to get rid of the amiibo. Kind of sucks for the people who already own all those games and do not want to repurchase them.

I used to love the Mega Man series growing up. The X series too. I remember when they first hit the PS1 and had animated cut scenes. Damn those were some good looking games, and still hold up well today. It seems like I have been waiting forever for Mighty No. 9 to release. I got a feeling that is going to be a good game.

...

Also, I wanted to ask if you have played any of the other Souls titles, like Dark Souls or Demons Souls? They are very similar to Bloodborne, while being very different at the same time. Still, they are all very well polished games and offer a great deal of excitement. There is truly nothing as exhilarating as beating a boss or another player in these games, at least nothing that I have found (game wise). Usually after you beat a boss you can feel your heart beating so hard you think it's about to pop out of your chest. Good times? :p

A New #amiibo Approaches ... well, in a couple of hours anyway :p

GameStop will be taking preorders for the exclusive Roy starting at 3pm EST today, or in about an hour and a half. Online, and in-store.

NICE! I found out with BestBuy's Gamer Club Unlocked card I save $2.60 per amiibo. I was worried they took that feature away, and only gave the discount when buying games.

I wish they would ship to Canada from USA website. Argh

I was trying to get my hands on a copy of the NTSC version of Devil's Third, and it was not anywhere in the US. But Canada had it on amazon.ca... but they would not ship it to the US, Kind of lame considering I have bought Blu-Rays and CDs from amazon.ca in the past.

I did end up getting my hands on the last copy from a GameStop the next town over. I still need to play that game, I don't even think I turned it on yet. I know I heard it is trash, but I have a lot of faith in the game's creators and think I will find a lot of enjoyment out of Devil's Third.

tthousand and Skiller , a friend of mine wishes there was a "pinky" amiibo. I told him, u'd probably get one with two left legs due to a manufacturing error. :p

what you don't have 2 left legs? Dammit they said it was authentic :p

I had a friend who once bought a Worf action figure with two left legs. the boot of each leg had a separate serial number too. :p

don't try selling that pinky amiibo for extra cash. my soul might be in that like Chucky's. yes, u think ur the only horror movie villain on this site? ;)

tthousand , if I buy that card, I have to bring the card to the store to activate it, correct? I was thinking about buying the card for the legacy collection, amiibos, ps4 games, and even perhaps an xbone at some point. for some reason the legacy collections on ebay r twice the price of what it is in stores. it doesn't make any sense.
