nintendo switch emulator for PS3

wondering if I may ask here......is there is a nintendo switch emulator for PS3 on HFW 4.86 & PS3Hen 3.0.2?

Basically want to play super mario games on my PS3.

thanx.

well, I don't know how the cell would hold up against the switch cpu. the cell is still very powerful even today, but you'd have a major problem with ram. the switch has several times as much as the ps3.

LMAO, Switch is arguably more powerful than PS3 or at least around the same. For a console to emulate a system, that console has to be significantly more powerful than the one it's emulating.

And power is not even everything, it still takes someone to go in and do all that work to make it possible, and even on top of that there has to be compatibility with the console and the emulator. It is a very difficult process if you don't see an emulator for a console there's a reason.

there's a pc switch emulator called yuzu. it's unlikely my system could handle it, so I haven't tested it. I know that at least odyssey and several other games are playable from start to finish.

Yeah I got a gaming PC last summer, and even though I have a cfw switch I also use the emulators on PC some there's Yuzu and one called Ryujinx. Decent compatibility between the two but can't play everything. Example Smash Bros Ultimate you can play the two player mode but single player mode doesn't work yet.

I am sorry to say there is another epidemic endemic to our world, and that is stupidity.

Actually this is true but... Not everyone have any basic knowledge from IT. And not everyone need to (yet should ;])... And to be honest, You can emulate anything on everything, the question is how fast. ;)

Sure, but the general rule of thumb is in most cases if a target console you want emulated is newer than console you want an emulator ported to, chances are it is impossible to ever see playable speeds. Exceptions are some lower spec handheld systems, but the Switch is literally one of the most powerful handheld systems out there. Spec-wise it is pretty close to PS3 since it came out a decade later.

Common sense should tell anybody with half a brain that it is impossible to do what OP is asking. I guess I am just fed up with questions like this haha.

Unfortunately I don't think anything like this can be done at playable speeds :-(
Your best bet is to use a computer for emulation

I have a suggestion that may sound stupid but I don't know much about it, in the rebug toolbox we have parameters to install linux on that console and then use it as a computer I guess if it really works so much tried it may be worth the shots right? once more than installed yuzu and try

Please use Google translate and while Linux may run the 3D drivers aren't going to cover Switch emulation.

What's the purpose of asking for current-gen emulator for gaming machine that is two generations behind? A gateway for being cheapskate?
