PS3 (Evilnat 4.89 nodb) with a damaged BD drive. I can boot PS3 with XMB and ISO without problems, but PS1 and PS2 won't work for some reason. Is there any way for this to work?

Yeah IIRC the NoBD FW has issues with backwards compatibility. How damaged is the BD drive? If it's just the laser you can just install the regular CFW. The NoBD variant is only needed if the logic board of the drive is damaged.

As far as the ps2 games are concerned you can simply encrypt their iso and then use the ps2 classics launcher or you can encrypt the iso and then make a pkg out of it after which you can install the pkg.
Both the methods will work fine, this is because when using encrypted ps2 isos the bd drive is not accessed at all as opposed to when you are mounting a game, because in that case the bd drive is redirected to the mounted game and the ps3 is made to believe that the actual game disc is inserted into it, when running the encrypted iso the bd drive is not used at all and so with that method, it will work.
I have the same problem, only I'm stuck on Rebug 4.86.1 Lite noBD and have no way of activating my ACT.DAt file. I can't even get my PKGS resigned without it. From what I remember, none of the ISO format games will launch because SONY made the system BC to work arouthe BD drive & logic board. If the logic board is out, you have to replace with the same exact model BD for you CechXXX/XXXX model.
