No PSN Connection on OFW

I have a Super Slim Trying to get HAN But i updated to 4.82 and When i test Connection it just says obtaining IP Address and Internet Connection Nothing Else. I know how to Fix on CFW but i never had this Problem on OFW any Suggestions Would be appreciated

If your on 4.82 using HAN you need to use the PS3 Proxy Server method to connect to PSN.

Tried, My Ps3 Physically cannot connect to the Servers, When i Test onnection It just comes up with Internet Connection and Obtaining Ip Address. Even Without the Server Running

I remember having the same issue with my SuperSlim on OFW on a lower firmware version, but to be honest i cannot for the life of me remember how i solved it.

I think I re-installed the firmware I was on, then went into recovery mode and re-built the database, I think but it was a good few years ago. Its the only thing I can think of that I would do on OFW.

Just tried Rebuilding Database (already Re installed FW like 3 times) Still Same issue.

Can you use the internet through the web browser? Does the PS3 obtain the IP address? does it say you have an internet connection?

Yes, I just cant Do Act/IDPS Dump because i don't have a Activated Account

Do you have the PS3 proxy server setting on in the internet settings status list? This can cause this error code.

You misunderstand me, make sure 'Proxy Server' is set to 'Do Not Use' in the status list. Then on 4.82 and sign in you should be asked if you want update your firmware. Also make sure 'automatic update' is disabled in the setting column so it cant automatically download and update your ps3 to 4.83 and lose the ability to use HAN. And also make sure that 'media server' is disabled as this can cause problems when connecting to psn.

Other options are firstly turn your ps3 off and your router. Leave your router off for about 30 seconds, or a few minute if you want to sure sure, then turn you router back on and let it boot up properly. Once it has turn your ps3 back on then set up the connection again through the settings menu.

This sometimes helps as it resets the router and refreshes the connections.

So, just to see what it may be:

- Is your IP on PS3Proxy the same as on your Proxy Settings under Network when you set up a new internet connection.

- Is your firewall disabled on your PC?

- Do you get an error when trying to create account or PSN connection wont work whatsoever?
