I have a b01 console here that you can access safe mode on and it will display perfectly fine, I can also rebuild or restore the system files and it will initially display the please connect controller screen, let me do initial settings and then display the warning message after which it goes to a black screen with system audio only.

If I reboot the console I only get audio with a black screen.

I do notice some graphical dots when in safe mode which I fear may be the entire issue with this console. Since I have 13 of these to check today I dont have time yet to connect to the syscon but wanted to get your input first.

Probably hdmi IC or some RSX pads that go to the hdmi IC. If it were the CELL, you woulnd't be able to hear anything, because it normally freezes the system.

You have image firstly because the safe mode runs under low resolution, when you go upper than that it's where things break. If that IC needs a change, you need to buy bgas, amtech flux and need a good, not so chinese, heatgun.

Since I have 13 of these to check

I demand pics.

Sorry for the delay, but here's the shelf with most of the consoles on it and another shelf with 2 more lol

There's a few that aren't pictured

As for the rsx I added some paper behind the rsx clamp and the snow got better so I'm leaning towards the rsx having some issues with a few pads. But since I don't have the equipment nor experience to remove the rsx I'm not going to touch it so I dont risk killing the whole board.
