My ps3 is a NOR on Rebug 4.84 Cex Cobra 8.01.
As the title said i messed up, and now i'm not sure what to do to proceed, should i cancel the formal, boot into safe mode again, and try rebuilt database(option4), then if this fail, restore ps3 system(option 5, it remove everything except the cfw?), or should i format it, and do i need to install OFW or the same CFW Rebug 4.84, or should i install 4.89 evilnat cobra 8.3 CEX? Not sure about which is better.

i can not advise what to do next, but when done you should install rebug (not ofw).

why did you do the file check?
are you using hard drive or SSD?

I'm using a 1tb hdd, i did the file check because ignored it a lot and thought it might be a good idea since i tried installing no-psn youtube and netflix and they froze, as well as multiman.
Should i reinstall the exact same 4.84 cex rebug?

Edit: i booted to safe mode again and i'm trying to rebuild database. It's stuck on preparing, please wait, but the hdd led isn't blinking.

Can you still access the XMB? If so then format your hard drive. Backup whatever is important to you first though.

If you have webMAN mod installed you could use ftp to back everything up (might take a while since PS3s tend to be slower in ftp than usb methods)

if you ignore it too many times, the errors can build up and then this sort of thing happens. :( format may be required...it may be better to format it in a computer and check it with s.m.a.r.t. tools to be sure it is still in good condition.

The XMB wasn't available, it asked me to format immediately after boot, so i ended up booting to safe mode and choosing option 5, restore ps3 system, now it is back on rebug 4.84, re-installed rebug toolbug, set np-environment to invalid to remove the connection to psn, now i just need to toggle Toggle QA Flag to install any firmware over my current one if something goes wrong, then this time backup my EID0_root_key which i didn't do last time. Then i just have to install WebMAN ect.

Yeah maybe i shouldn't have ignored them, i was afraid to mess up the cfw, some say it is never a good idea to run on cfw because it mess it up, other says that it is safe so i don't really know. Also the hdd is a western digital 1tb red that i bought new in 2015 i think, now it's is back on rebug after a system restore. If i would have had to reinstall the firmware i would have check it with s.m.a.r.t on a pc.

I'm a bit confused about some stuff, since i restored the os, my main account which was activated isn't on it anymore, so in order to install rap files, do i need to run Reactpsn then psnpatch to activate the rap files? The other method i read is installing sen, making sure eveything is hidden, rebooting, then creating a dummy acc to log in psn to activate the system then use psnpatch for the rap.
