Not enough free system memory

Hey

I told a buddy I modded my PS4 so he asked me to do his. He is on 7.55. Every time I try to run the exploit HEN or Mira i get Not enough free system memory every time. Mine works no problem his never loads the exploit. Any ideas?

Thanks

U need to try different exploits and chck which exploit gives u the best result. But do not expect it like 5.05. 7.55 gives u hell lot of errors.

Th exploit hosts say page cached but that never seems to actually save. If I get HEN or Mira to run fully I never see teh debug option in settings like i do on my 5.0.5. Tried 6 hosts they load fine the 1st time but after that errors all the time

not enough free system memory is an an error related to the webkit. it's a generic error too, so it doesn't necessarily mean what it says. it just means the system encountered something it didn't like, then threw up that error. it happens on all exploitable firmwares, but it's far more prevalent on 7.55. I can't recall where the cache is located (probably in the webkit folder somewhere in the user partition). it's called application.cache iirc. I don't know if that will exist if nothing is cached, but you could check for it. however, you'd have to have the exploit run to do so. the application.cache is generic too, so you can transfer it to another ps4, and it should work iirc. try prb's or I think karo's exploit page on 7.55. I can't recall if karo is 7.55, but I've heard good things about it. also, prb has a self host if you want to try exploiting the system using your phone or pc. I'm friends with prb, so I know he updates frequently.

I tried those and others even if the exploit says is was completed i never see the debug menu in settings. Most times it never loads the exploit. I will just leave anything on firmware 7xx alone

maybe try a standalone ftp payload? you don't need to launch hen to use it. see if you can connect via ftp with your pc. make note of both ip and port as they'll be displayed quickly when you deploy the payload. if there is no standalone ftp payload, try launching one with bin loader, if it's present.

Karo's on my pro 7.55 throws wk exploit 2 to 10 times but kernel works every time without kp so far (30 times now) but almost all other hosts even offline host kp kernel 5 to 10 times before they work. I highly recommend Karo's!

supposedly, the more graphic-intensive the page is with the exploits, the more likely it will fail (especially on later firmwares). also, if you get memory errors, don't keep clicking okay. after the 5th time, minimize the browser with the ps button, then try again.

btw, I asked my friend prb if he had any idea what could be wrong with you caching the files, and he said that there could be something messed up with offline manifest, like if it's gzipped. you wouldn't have access to that though unless you were self-hosting afaik. I've also heard of some hosts splitting up the webkit and kernel portions of the exploit, so that would explain no debug settings appearing, if you're only doing the webkit portion.

this is an example of the offline manifest (taken from xproject). it lists everything to install to the cache. if there's a typo or something in there, the cache install will fail. however, it should tell if you if it does or it will fail at a certain percentage. there's a bat file to create an offline cache for your self-host. it will insure that you don't forget something or type it in wrong. you can't have spaces in the file names either or else it will think that's the end of the cache, then possibly fail at that point:

one last thing, remember to delete the cache after you've installed the cache for another host or it will be loaded into memory instead. that could be the reason why it's not saving it. that's with the options button iirc. then, back out of the page by holding circle (hold circle, because pressing it minimizes the browser), then go into the webhost from the list of sites. this is mostly convenient when updating a webhost, because certain things will still be in memory even if you delete the cache. this insures everything is refreshed.

Good to know thanks

glad you got it working. rest mode is supposed to be pretty good on 7.55. I've heard of people's systems lasting a month, perhaps longer, on rest mode. I've never personally had much success with rest mode on 5.05, but the exploit works most of the time on your first try anyway. and, considering I don't even play my ps4, I don't really need it to be in rest mode.

it's one of the power options when you're going to turn the system off by I think holding the ps button. enter rest mode, and the light on the top of the system will turn orange.

rest mode will save you from having to do the dreaded exploit at each boot, but it doesn't last forever. though, I heard of someone who was on rest mode (don't know which firmware) for almost a year. if you get no signal/no video when coming back from rest mode, it's kp'd, so pull the power cable out or use a toggle switch like I do. that's happened to me a few times on 5.05, which is why I don't use rest mode at all. it's supposed to be more reliable if not in game, but I don't think it matters much.

Thanks for all the help
