PS3HEN Now with HEN is is possible to install games directly via external drive?

It would be way faster and more practical installing my games through an external drive in NTFS format.
Or even better.. play directly via external drive inserted in my ps3.

Cause.. installing via pkg linker it's annoying.. i forgot the procedure and i always got errors.

Edit: After some more heavy searching.. it seems like i can do that with WebMan instead of Multi

But i installed Webman, opened and.. my ps3 reboot, after that nothing happens..

yep that possible
i just copy games from external 2 internal with active BD mirror
and its work fine.
 
webMAN is buggy on HEN right now, stick to multiMAN. You can play from an external hard drive, but I'm not sure if this is compatible with all games. If not, copy the game to the HDD from the external hard drive. Also NTFS could be an issue, I haven't messed with that much.
 
If you have a backup of a game all in folders and pieces of data,you should be able to just creates a GAMES folder on the root of your usb,put the folder for the game in there and then the game should load right up in webman once you reboot the ps3.

prepNTFS prepISO is an addon for webMAN MOD that scans the content of the NTFS devices and generate the fake ISO containing the sectors of the ISOs in NTFS.

The version 1.19 is a modded version that also detects PKG and movies (mkv, mp4, avi, etc.) and shows them listed in the Bluray & DVD section. Once you mount the fake ISO, you can watch the movie or install the package directly from NTFS without have to copy it to HDD.

please don't know much about ps3, I just got 1. I have a FAT32 USB drive formatted, I created a folder (PS3)and inside the ps3 folder I created another folder (GAMES). is this the right way to make a folder to access a game on ps3 HEN, if not kindly help me out.
