Most of you had the same problem for sure
so after first time jailbreaking my ps3 using hen i noticed that i can't transfer pkg files (i use pkg for games as a habit) after some digging in the forums and reddit i gave up and started using FTP and it was HORIBBLE.
after some time my last hard drive is fixed now and i started researching on how to transfer using NTFS some say use webman some say use irisman and even some say use multiman (and one last that i forgot the name of it)
i tried all of them and nothing there is not ntfs0 not usb000
