Offline PSN Activation of PS3HEN PS3

Hi there,

I am trying to swap my HDD, but I do not want to risk a ban.
Is it possible to do an offline PSN activation of a PS3 with PS3HEN, without logging in to PSN?
If so, which files do I need to back up from my old drive?

You cannot activate PSN offline.

you can try copy folder that contains two files something like act from /dev_hdd0/home/[USER_ID] or /dev_hdd0/user/[USER_ID] to new console... i'm too lazy to check that path and above folder :P

There is no ban risk whatsoever.
If you change the hdd, you must reinstall the system software anyway & once that's done, you will be on pure OFW or HFW which is basically the same thing, and there should be no traces left of any hacks you might have used previously.
You can then connect to PSN safely to activate the console & sync your trophies. And once that part of the setup is done, you can finally install PS3HEN.

yeah, I tried copying both the act.dat and the whole home directory to the new HDD, but I still need to activate.
