PS3 [OFW] Modify EBOOT and inject it via backup? Or fetch the auth ticket?

Hello!

I'm trying to understand the protocol a game uses to connect to its server. I already sniffed the network traffic of the PC version of a successor of this game (it's most likely they use the same protocol for all games of that franchise) by deactivating the certificate check. However, the PS3 login is different - it uses the PSN auth ticket and I don't know how to fetch it on OFW.

So, my question is: Is it possible to patch the decrypted EBOOT, deactivate the certificate check, resign/encrypt everything, inject it into a backup and going online with it? Will that work or will the PS3 OFW refuse to run the modified game?

If yes: Can I get in trouble with Sony, i.e. can they track this and ban my console?

If not or if it's easier: Is there any chance to get your hands on the PSN auth ticket using OFW? How does authentication work on the PS apps (Android/PC) such as Remote Play or the like? Is it possible to fetch the ticket here?

Best,

PS3 OFW will refuse to run it for sure. I think you can try Hyenas (look on github).
