Long time lurker here and have used this site to take full advantage of all my previous Playstations 1, 2 & 3. As my current PS4 is rarly used other than my daughters playing MineCraft I thought that I'd see what was going on in the scene with regards to PS4.
Last week after having a external harddrive failure and loosing a bunch of games for my PS3 I realised that I could upgrade to 4.91 (I was 4.82).. Then i noticed that the PS4 had an expliot for 11.00 and below, I instantly booted up my PS4 to discover to my horror that my darling children had upgraded to 11.50.
Anyhow after reading up on the exploit and sifting through a bunch of false claims regarding 11.50 I thought I'd just get a second hand one.. not happy with the prices or condition for the offerings on Ebay and Marketplace i took a chance and brought a brand new one from Argos (uk store) I just collected it and turned it on just now Model number CUH-2216A and to my delight it's pre installed with 10.01.
And to sweeten the deal a brand new offical controller in the bundle too. Hopefully some of you in the same possition may find this usful if you got a spare £180.
