OPL crashes in FMCB 1966

I've installed FMCB (1966 release) in my memory card.

When I try to open the FMCB Configurator, it gets eternally in a black screen. And when I try to open uLaunchELF, the program crashes when I try to copy or rename files.

The only release that worked well for me is 1.92

Why?

Doesn't sound like an original DMS4 Pro, but rather like a Clone.

You have either two options here (from my experience with modchips and FMCB)

Option 1:
- do not use FMCB when booting up the console
- use the modchip to launch OPL ELF file on boot (your modchip should have the feature to launch an ELF file either from a memory card or HDD)
Option 2:
- disable the modchip
- boot into FMCB
- launch OPL

Forget about having both modchip and FMCB active. It's not gonna work, and even if you manage to make it work with different version of FMCB then it's not gonna be reliable.

Go back to 1.8b. 1.9 line introduced some changes which conflicting with modchips.
Or desolder modchip.

I have a Toxic OS DSM4 modchip on my PS2
Something like this not exist. Maybe You have in mind DMS4?
ToxicOS however is their launcher designed and DRMed to work from DEV1/2/3/4 only on DMS family (there are cracked versions anyway).
