PS2 OPL Metadata management

Sorry for making likely redundant thread as I assume I already found the answer that to put it shortly is a "no".

But to ask; Is there homebrew or app that could update OPL metadata and cover/icon/etc. images from internal HDD game list (Just normal PS2 APA not exfat setup). It seems OPL does not do this in app though it can update the configs from your game list and save them inside +OPL partition. It seems there is only PC applications but there is few issues to me. I started using Linux recently so windows apps can be a hit or miss for managing libraries. Other issue is that I cannot connect my HDD directly to my computer. I use actual IDE drives with my PS2 (also Xbox) and genuine network adapter, and my PC has not had IDE for years, nor do I have USB cable for such. So I use mainly hdl_dump and hdl_serv for transferring data, but I do not seem to be able to find applications that could do artwork updates over network either. I can successfully setup OPL NBD server as well but it generally seems like the tools expect you to have your whole library available locally on your PC for scraping a game list together for downloading covers etc. This is not feasible as my library is on my PS2, I do not keep stuff I already have stored on my PS2 around.

So, I would like to try to find applications that could be run on PS2 itself and update the OPL files, or application, even windows is fine if it is simple enough to be fine with wine, that could connect to either nbd mount or hdl_serv, scrape a list and get the right set of files together. Heck I can even do the final transfer manually through USB stick sneakernet.

I assume though, that what I found, I found and that is all there is. OPL PC Tools seemed promising with it's native Linux GUI version but it expects a local library that I do not have in right format and lacks other options.

Luckily, the important core stuff works for me at least, that is transferring game backups from my discs over network with adequate speed. The extra metadata and images would be nice to have, and I prepared a 4gb partition for them and other OPL data, but it is not mission critical.
