PS2 OPL poblems

The idea was a little bit different.
If you copy all the content from an USB device to a PC HDD and copy them back without formatting (USB device),
file system will (mostly) overwrite previous data, but the files still might be fragmented.
Or maybe in other words it will not start to create data from the first sector, but from the last that was used.

Because deleting\moving files are not fully erasing them from any device.

If you format your USB device (even fast, which is is a way faster), files will be write from the 1st sector
and they will be continuous (not fragmented)...

In a simplified way. My English is quite bad, so many people will have a problem with understanding what I just wrote.
That is why I previously wrote these 3 simple steps.

Maybe it is safe to format. But I wouldn't be sure it is different than just deleting (deleting all the contents obviously). Formatting simply tells that i.e. from sector 0 to sector 100 there's no data. You get the same result when you delete everything.
At least in my experience, data is always installed defragmented after you delete everything in the device.

I experienced fragmentation, if files were only deleted, so I'd also format it before and then use ONE copy-task (not parallel tasks), to get them onto the drive in a continuous way.

Let's say that here is our USB drive:
template3.png

These green lines are the fragmented files.

If you copy all the data to another HDD\SSD, delete all the files from it and copy it back,
it may looks like that:
template4.png

It will still have fragmented files.
Sectors will be wrote from the last time there were use.

If I will format it:

Copy files from HDD to USB:
template1.png

All the files should be continuous.

I found out what the issue is, when I split the game with the USBUtil tool from the PS2 Home website it shows the error

And I also don't know why is the image quality and game performance worse with the HDTV 575p 50Hz mode than HDTV 480p 60Hz mode

Unlikely... It's rather that the files are just fragmented, like the message implies.

Edit: Please don't double-post, but use the edit-button (or wait 24 hours)!
I am gonna merge them...

Regarding your second question... The games are often programmed to work on one frequency... Either 50Hz or 60Hz!
Usually you should set your VMode to one which has the same Hz as your original game...

The games are much smoother in 60Hz

I asked for their Game-IDs!
The names don't tell us, which versions they are and neither does "European versions"!

Anyway... They should be 50Hz usually, except if they have a VMode-Selector.

SLES-55666, SLES-55673, SLES-52725, SCES-53312, you can check GSM HDTV 480p and HDTV 576p modes there's a big difference in the image quality, the 480p one looks sharper and clearer and it's smoother

Well, if those work fine, just go for it!

I have one or two of them and can try them later.

Dude... READ...
What are we talking about here?
Hence... What do I mean...

*facepalm*

Can you also check why other GSM modes aren't working, only modes that are working for me are NTSC, PAL, HDTV 480p and HDTV 576p, the VGA modes have a purple color screen

Yes, I meant that I can test these games.

Yes, it is normal that VGA/VESA-Modes look "magenta"/pink, if you use a Component-cable!

I would be really happy if I could play the games in the HDTV 480p 60Hz mode but the game is zoomed in and I have overscan on top and bottom like the game is cut out

Is there a way to add this video mode in GSM, I enabled this video mode for OPL and the image quality is perfect and smooth without overscan and cut outs

NFS U2 (SLES_527.25) does not have a 50/60hz selector.
Nor at start\boot or in options.

Soul Calibur 3 has 50/60hz selector also at boot:
