I'm having issues with OPL and I was wondering if anybody had an idea on what's going on before I mess something up. Anyways I used to have my PS2 set up with FHDB, a 1TB internal drive, OPL with PS2 and PS1 games and Retroarch. Everything worked fine, I set everything up myself, PS1 games worked, PS2 Games worked, Retroarch and SMS worked, all my artwork worked, all my config files had nice descriptions and were filled out to look nice it was a good setup. Now I screwed up, lost every PS2 disc I had, and instead of reacquiring them I used WinHIIP to extract them from my HDD and in the process screwed up the setup because WinHIIP added a partition that screwed everything up. So I just reinstalled everything, it took a ridiculously long time, since I have so much stuff my drive has like 20GB left. But I retransferred everything, PS2 with HDLBatch, PS1 over USB (USB 1.1 is trash btw), and at a certain point everything should be working, POPStarter was installed, PS1 games were in their correct place, Retroarch was setup and app config file was setup properly. So I launch OPL 1.1.0 stable, change settings to how I like, try to launch a PS1 game, and nothing. Black screen, then eventually kicks me back to the PS2 browser, weird, I try launching Retroarch, same issue, black screen, back to browser. I say screw this, wipe the hard drive and redo everything all over again. This time it refuses to even recognize that I have PS1 games and RetroArch does the same thing, black screen, back to browser. The only thing I can think of that is different is I'm no longer using daily builds of OPL 0.9.3 and 1.0.0 and my Internal Drive has only 20GB of space left on the entire drive instead of 80GB. Is this just my HDD dying, is my SATA modded Network Adapter failing? Is this a software issue, or is my PS2 too low on space? It would be nice to know what the issue is so I can fix it.
Since I know this may be asked. I did not launch OPL and then resize the partition, I created the +OPL partition and set the size to 16384MB, as I have been told resizing the +OPL partition after it has been made can cause issues. POPS files are in the __.POPS partition and it is approximately 75GB in size, the POPS.ELF and IOPRP252.IMG are in __common/POPS/ and POPSTARTER.ELF is placed in +OPL/POPS/
