Go through the help tab on pkg linker 2.0, it can be almost anything to cause that error, so it does not help much. Even if your PC is switched off you will get that error. So it just means no connection, and can be any reason.im having error 80710092 when i updated to HFW

i tried to change ip on both my pc and ps3 to 198.168.0.2/198.168.0.3 and gateway 192.168.0.1
and it work, but new problem occur that after i changed i dont have access to my internet anymore but the ps3 still download from pkg linker
ty it working now, a bit slower than 192.168.0.x but atleast i still can access internetConsidering you moved yourself off the network your router was on, it is understandable that you aren't getting internet.
Pkg linker works because both pc and ps3 are on the same network.
You might get success by changing back to 192.168.1.x but starting w/ higher numbers for the ip (between 167 & 237) where there is less likelihood of ip conflict, if you want internet and pkg linker at the same time.

and btw do you know how to download multiple pkg ? because download per pkg is a pain
ok ty very muchI don't have a need for the software, I have cfw....
I was able to spot your basic networking error right away, though, figured you wanted that fixed.
If you change the settings for file transfer speed, you shouldn't have any problems other than the lack of internet
I would expect to see at least some minor performance increase on a "segregated" network as it has "less traffic"
I'm dumbing this down a bit, so its easier to understand. There is also a lot of unneeded information I could have put in there, but didn't.This is all IPv4 stuff
