PKG Linker related query & requirements

It should be possible I suppose, as the font must be on there somewhere.

Worth noting, The ingame xmb is already so laggy, it has very little RAM available for it, so it will only make that worse.
Ehh, just wish I knew for sure if there was one on there. Also, with pkg linker, is that for...say if I downloaded a game that was 8GB can I pkg linker to put it on my ps3 without an USB? Or don't you know?

Well if it's displaying the font it's definitely on there.

And Yes, that's what pkg linker is for, you just need your pc and ps3 on the same network. You do need a USB stick for initial setup.

But to get it on my ps3 I don't, correct? Because the game I want is 8GB but my USB is 4GB, so...

PKG linker gives me a error loading the pkgs. Error: missing VCsomething.dll from computer. I tried to redownload the linker 3 times and still, same error.

Installing Visual C++ Redistributable Package fixes some of the dll errors with Apache.

Says the same error: "VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing from your computer" even though I just installed what you linked.
This post and the one after it have some more info on fixing the dll errors. If that doesn't help you should post a thread or post in the pkg linker thread because we're way off topic here.

Are u installing the right version for the app ie 32bit or 64bit? When in doubt, install both of them (if you have a 64bit PC of course).

@oVxzi , personally, I'd invest in a larger flash drive. if you go over to the ps4, you're going to have major problems. Mega Man Legacy Collection is over half a gig by itself, and you'd think the game would be smaller with those Mega Man games being mere kilobytes. :-P

Your pc is 64 bit but the app might need the 32bit VC++. Like I said, you should install both 32bit & 64bit VC++ redistributables.

Btw like the pink1 said, this is totally off topic in this thread. You should be posting your questions in the pkg linker release thread not in the ps3xploit debug settings Enabler thread.

Edit: I created this new thread for you & moved all the related posts here.
