PS2 Playing PS1 games on PS2 using a PS1 memory card

I was a bit curious since I intend to wanting to have my Ps2 play Ps1 games, either burned or original, so I wanna ask this.

I know that you need a PS1 memcard to save games when playing PS1 games on disk using good lenses from the PS2, which Is I wanna know...

How will I view the saves inside my PS1 memcard If I wanna see those saves? Can ulaunchelf be usable on that instace?

The contents of memory card appear normally on the ps2

OSDSYS, HDD OSD and PS2BBN/DEP understanding both cards and showing and managing saves from both. PSX saves can be stored on PS2MC but games of course will not understand it. PSX and PS2 saves can be stored on HDD if you using HDD OSD but of course none games except few will read them or write there.

Homebrew apps, like uLE/wLE also can.
