Playing PS2 and PSP games with PS3HEN

Hello everyone! So far I have been able to play all PS1 games with a .cue and .bin in the PSX iso folder by enabling HEN and running Multiman and selecting the .cue file of the PS1 game I'm going to play. Multiman then goes to the XMB and I can then select the game and all PS1 games have been able to run using this method. PS3 games I can run by converting the folder to iso format in Multiman and then selecting the iso, PS3 goes to XMB, and then playing the game disc that appeared in the XMB. However with PS2 and PSP games I have been having issues and anytime I try to run those I get an error saying I have to renew license in the PS Store. Anyone have a guide or tips for how to run PS2 and PSP games using PS3HEN?

This is an activation problem with ps2 placeholder. You need the universal ps2 rap to activate it.
I never needed to activate PSP Launcher though... So not sure what's wrong there...

What version of HEN are you using? As Ps2 classics placeholder should be automatically activated in later versions.
You also need to make sure the console is activated as the required files (act and idps) won't be there if its not. And these are needed to activate licenses

PSP launcher gives black screen on start with Ghost of Sparta. And PS2 Classic place holder froze my console, on the mount of Star Wars Racer. I havn't been successful at PS2 or PSP. Multiman won't even detect BIN.ENC games files.

GOS have a "remaster" on PS3.

I wouldn't bother with psp. a lot of games don't work or have serious problems. I remember trying to play jak and daxter, and the fps was so bad that it was unplayable. I think sony stopped coding the psp emulator years ago, so don't expect it to get much better. use the pstv for psp.
