Do you have it in Folder Format (PS3_GAME / PS3_UPDATE / Disc.SFB) that could be why it's not working. I went though some trouble with this one back when the only way to do this on non-CFW was with CFW2OFW converter. It should work as an ISO / split ISO. I have this one working as split on a FAT32 USB. I use multiman to load these backups, though it should probably work the same with any other manager.

Look into using this tool here from now on for all your backups. It pretty much guarantees success (99% or something) unless there's something wrong with the rip itself. https://www.psx-place.com/resources/ps3-iso-tools.68/

tried loading fallout new vegas ultimate edition from my external usb hd using managunz

first try i got black screen so i did some googling followed instructions now i get 80010009 error message
