PS3 Please Help, cant switch from dex to cex

So I havent used my ps3 for a while now, and I dont know much about them tbh, but I downloaded and installed 4.84 DEX, but now i need to switch back to cex for another uodate. When I go into the rebug toolbox and try to switch from dex to cex, it says "Please install REBUG REX/D-REX Firmware to access...", Ive tried installing REX. but it says data corruption, and I cant switch back to cex. Please help, thank you.

are you on rebug 4.84 d-rex? the toolbox runs on other cfw but not all features work. when converting is done you will want rex (not d-rex) you can goto 4.85 lite after but it is not "full" rebug.

When I load into rebug toolbox, it says im not one rex or d-rex

this video/post does not help, in the video, he has access to the full rebug menu, thats the problem im having.

Right when I load rebug toolbox, it says "Your system is not running on compatible REBUG Configuration! Some options will not be avaliable."
And for some reason, I cannot update to dex while im on dex. And I canr switch to cex because its disabled in the REBUG toolbox

install rebug d-rex. i think thats what toolbox is saying...you dont have rebug cfw just the toolbox. there are different cfw and no standard way to tell which one you are on.
