Hey there, I am new to the forum and new to this homebrew stuff.
I have installed Hen and have Webman and Multiman Cobra. I'm kind of just fumbling thru not quite sure how it al works.
All the install was easy as but I can't load any of my backups from my network server.
I have them stored in iso and bluray formats.
My MMCM is 4.85.01 my Webman is 1.47.37I'm unsure what version Hen and My system software is 4.86. I'm unsure where my Multiman has gone, maybe it upgraded to Cobra?
My server is Ubuntu with a zfq raid system and basic folder sharing
The games all show with their art as they are supposed to but whenever I try to start any game I get this

This operation is not allowed.
ISO TYPE: 32
ISO PATH (1)....
ISO PATH (0)...
ISO SEGS: 1

ERROR: 80010002 (EINVAL)

I have done a ton of googling but cant find a definitive answer although the problem seems quite common.

Please someone help me..

Backup managers don't support game serving over LAN without the ps3netsrv protocol so I am assuming you are trying to use ps3netsrv on Linux to serve your iso files to PS3 backup managers?

If so

1. Check that the ps3netsrv client is enabled & that the ps3netsrv related settings are all OK in webMAN-MOD setup page (or in multiman settings if you prefer to use that or any other backup manager with a ps3netsrv client).

2. Check that you are using the latest ps3netsrv release for Linux or build from the latest source, make sure the ps3netsrv server is correctly set up, verify that the iso files are correctly named & located in the appropriate dedicated folders.

There is some ps3netsrv documentation & the latest Linux x86-64 build in aldostools/webMAN-MOD github repo, look in the _Projects_/ps3netsrv/bins/Linux folder.
You should ask aldostools if you need further explanations about his ps3netsrv fork.

Deank released his own ps3netsrv fork for multiman, it should still be available at deanbg.com/ps3netsrv.zip.

Alternatively there are other ps3netsrv server ports for Java, Go & Android, you can find links to those resources in the ps3netsrv project Readme in aldostools repo.

3. Make sure the iso files are valid ps3 retail game iso images preferably made with makeps3iso on PC or on PS3 with Irisman (standard PC ISO making tools aren't appropriate), if ever you created the isos but haven't tested them yet other than attempting to mount them through ps3netsrv, you should first test them locally from USB storage (mbr/ntfs) in a folder named PS3ISO, wMM or multiman should be able to detect them & provide you with the means to mount them, give them a spin.

4. Ensure that there is no router setting in the way, restricting port access or whatever other LAN setting that could interfere.

5. For ps3netsrv serving to perform correctly & optimally, you should favour RJ45 ethernet connections rather than WiFi.

Type 32 = PS3_ISO
Error 80010002 = Invalid argument or flag.

Check that the IP address for the HOST (ps3netsrv) is configured in multiMAN and the ps3netsrv is running on the PC.
The port must be 38008. The ISO must be stored in the shared folder /PS3ISO.

I get that with hen 3.0.3 never really bothered to figure it out as I use webman with hen and ps3net. Only thing I use mm for is ripping

Pretty sure I have done all that.
I have no trouble connecting to ps3netsrv just cannot load any games.

I used multiman to rip a Bluray then converted to iso saving straight to my network drive. It auto stored it in the PS3ISO dir and loaded the album art. It worked fine locally but soon as I tried to load it from ps3netsrv it failed .
I am running ps3netserv on a Linux system pointing to a zfs raid array.

I'm at a loss given the ps and computer talk to each other fine until I try to load a game.
Is there maybe a ps3netsrv setting somewhere I have missed?
