PS3 Pls guide me on PS3 Super-Slim Jailbreak for RetroArch only

I have a PS3 Super Slim (Model: CECH-4008C with Firmware: 4.85).
I want to Jailbreak it for RetroArch only.

My only concern is I bought multiple single-players games in my PSN accounts.
I have 2 PSN accounts (US and UK based)

Can you pls guide me which custom firmware(s) to install and in which order?

YouTube videos are not always accurate or updated.
I think for the best and the safest option is to create another User Account in my PS3 while enabling PS3HEN with no PSN account linked with that local account. Right?

Pls guide me.

Super Slim PS3s do not support CFW. You have to use HEN.

After you have HEN installed download RetroArch from Brewology:
Download RetroArch v1.9.0+ by Themaister/TwinAphex - Brewology

You need it if your firmware is 4.83 or above. Sony tried patching the exploit that HEN uses, however it was found that it's possible to reinject the affected component without invalidating the firmware signature, which is what HFW does.
So basically - if you're on OFW 4.82 or below then you don't need HFW, just install HEN.
If you're on 4.83 or above (or want to upgrade to the latest version, e.g. for PSN access) then you need to install HFW first and only then you can install HEN.

Yes. You can update to 4.90 if you want, though this is only needed if you need PSN access and/or use your PS3 as a Blu-Ray player.
