If you have cobra fw you dont need to install prx loader, I would recommend using cobra fw
It works very well with rebug 4.65.1 fw with cobra
you only need to edit / create the boot_plugins.txt
with the path to the plugin placed in hdd0
simple!

Ok so itried it on Rebug 4.65.2 REX Webman on,
Skyrim was on, everything works but the recording option, if you try it it hard reboot into safe mode.
Also when you enable bgm option it will work but the plug in wont respond to anything.
Would love to this the plug in working properly on the new FW and more options would be great.

EDIT
the only thing that was possible to record was Rebug toolbox,
Tried on GT6 BCES01893 , it starts recording but after 5 seconds it shows reord error, if i try to exit the game the ps3 gets stuck in a black screen.
When i tried it with mM it starts recording and i can see the mp.4 being generated but if i move to game column or photos column (The columns that contains alot of files on them) the whole system freezes.

EDIT 2/
I kept testing ith some old games and successfully recorded a gameplay of WRC 1 BLES00992
but after that on any other game it shows Recording started and i can finish it as well but the mp.4 is not generated, and if i try to enable BGM it ill freezes the whole system.
not sure if it will help or not but here is the log, time for me sleep.

Don't know about the recording under 4.76... but i've used the plugin under 4.76 to obtain some klics and that worked without a problem.

Tried this awesome plugins to record some of my gameS,it seems that recording in games which uses low memory works.Tried with CoD MW series it worked at 1280x720 with bit of lag here and there and framrate dropping but its bearable.Games like GtA V,CoD BlackOps series always soft lock my PS3..

Yea the original link over at PlayStationHAx (link in first post) had the source but that link is down (from original thread). Sorry i do not have a link currently for the source code handy.

Hello everyone, this night I was testing the plugin and had some problems with freezes and crashes after returning to the XMB , decided to remove the plugin via FTP , editing Boot_Plugin.txt , deleting the file and the folder of the plugin ( PRXLOADER ) after it had serious freezing problems in the XMB , after the username XMB screen was completely frozen , I decided to enter the recovery mode menu and reinstall CFW and did not work, the second attempt was to recreate the database , but I'm already more than 4 hours at 0% , the screen is clearly saying do not turn off the console during the process, is this normal? or should turn off the console and try again? ( If so , this is safe ? )

That doesn't sound good. I don't know if this is your problem or not but this was not made for 4.78 firmware. If you read the thread you will see that people using it on firmware's above 4.46 have reported glitches.

I think if its been at 0% for 4 hours you can safely say its not gonna get anywhere. As for turning it off, no it isn't safe but I dont know what other choice you have. You may need to format your hdd or even reflash your console to get out of this if you cant reinstall CFW. I don't know. Wait for some other answers I think..

EDIT: [MENTION=12243]Verzantgray[/MENTION] try install a different FW, Rebug doesn't like being installed over itself from recovery menu, you can always go back to rebug afterwards.

[MENTION=22544]DeViL303[/MENTION] Thanks for the information and help, yet I tried to Rebuild Database (1st try got stuck at 0% for 4 h , the 2nd was taken XMB but nothing appeared ) , then tried to Restore File System ( I stopped at 3 % for 35min ) I will wait a few minutes and then try to install the FERROX 4.78 on Rebug .

Thanks for all the support, after formatting through the recovery menu, put the FERROX 4.78 and then again Rebug 4.78.1 above , everything is back to normal.

Is there any chance we get an update for this plugin or some of functions integrated into Weman MOD ? its functions seemed truly incredible

Aren't these functions already included in wMM?
Screenshots, Video Recording (with different AV formats), dumping Klic, all this is already in wMM.
Add CFW settings to the mix & you also get Disc hash key...
And if I remember correctly background music was a bit buggy anyway...
