PS3 PNG to GIM

Is ok, dont worry no hurry, i use to get involved in 40 things like this together so im used to abandon or freeze proyects, lol

But this experiments we was doing are about to finish, i really think the last files i uploaded are going to fix the layer overlapping ;)
Oh... this latest version worked perfectly... I forgot to warn you. but now my PS3 no longer works and i can't test anymore

But arrg... if only I could remember where exactly we stopped this project.
I was trying to imagine a way to add a custom coldboot rco animation without need to delete the coldboot.raf because both was displayed together, but the things i tryed was not working, so for the last test i made it simple (and it required to delete coldboot.raf)

Maybe it's better to delete the raf file, don't you think?

In my oppinion is better if the deletion of coldboot.raf was something optional, so "the user" who installs this mod can decide if deleting coldboot.raf or not
And i think is more simple and less invasive to dont delete it, lets say... if someone asks about how to install the mod or at some point the installation is automated with a tool, the 2 different ways we are discussing could be resumed in this steps:

Option1
1) Replace the rco
2) Delete coldboot.raf
3) Profit

Option2
1) Replace the rco
2) Profit

Option 2 wins, is a shame i could not find a way to achieve it, i was insisting in it because i thought it was going to be easyer to hide/disable coldboot.raf without deleting it

----------
Edit:
Im not counting with disabling coldboot.raf by modifying the .sprx, in my oppinion modifying the .sprx was not a aceptable solution for what i was trying to achieve, because the steps would be like this (more complicated and incompatible with HAN/HEN)

Option3
1) Replace the rco
1) Replace the sprx
2) Profit

You could replace coldboot.raf with one that displays a transparent image.

Or rename the original file instead of delete it.

But for now, I think it's better to delete coldboot.raf, I understand your idea and I think it's great, but until we can figure out how to keep both, let's do this without the raf for now. :)

Yeah, a coldboot.raf dummy (playable but empty) would work, or renaming it, but still.. the "option2" i mentioned beats them, this is why i made so many test to try to achieve "option2"

Replacing it with a blank coldboot.raf is best IMO, as this can be done with a simple pkg or zip, or with a single copy operation. Anything requiring deleting or renaming makes it more complicated for the user.
