There is no Sony BanHammer lol..
Just have to think about it., Would a billion dollar company have an automated process or a manual process for banning things..? Common sense would suggest in 2018 that there is an automated process for detection as the primary method, they would not then just fill up the "banhammer box" and wait til it fills to start banning. If they are flagged they would simply be banned/reviewed and handled, not put aside and a mass banning to occur. They would want to get offenders off ASAP once flagged not wait for the boat to fill up ..
FFS the BANWAVE LOL.. there is no such thing.....no matter how you look at it suggest there is no ban hammer, at least IMO. Still never seen a ban on my ps3.
You were banned from your actions on PSN and/or the IDPS you bought was sold to other's as well . and of course the guys who are more then likely selling you and others the same IDPS would be the WISE GUYS to suggest a banhammer wave i am sure..
To add, This is a tip for anyone....
If something suggest using PSNINJA run away.................................
ITS BEEN OUTDATED FOR ABOUT 5 years now..
So that would be a quick indicator they are talking (maybe typing) out their ass and are not "experts" if they do not know that basic scene knowledge
I take it no one has bothered to read the '
User Agreement' that you have to accept before you can install
OFW from Sony.
Its gives quite clearly some ideas as to what they do in this in a twisted way if you read between the lines, to the basics of how the monitor your activity on and off-line as doing so '
Covertly' (Spying) is against your right to privacy and also illegal even though they retain ownership rights of the hardware and software of your PS3 system.
Basically saying that you many have bought it but we own it and you can only use it how we say.
(
I don't think so, I bought it not rented or leased it and I will do whatever I please with it as is allowed under the lovely copyright laws under 'fair use, personal, research, education & reporting' )
So to conform to the laws protecting your '
privacy' and also your personal data under '
the data protection act' (
or the equivalent laws of whatever country you reside in and also international laws) as personal info is sometimes shared between friends through messages such as '
telephone numbers, email addresses etc' . but also because your '
Bank details, name, address' is on your account.
Even though this is not obviously collected by Sony it is one of the reasons they must give you the basics of what they do to monitor you and how or you could take them to court for '
Breaching your personal rights to privacy'.
DNAS (
Dynamic Network System Authentication)
This is Sonys automated system monitoring for the authentication of game titles. (Anti Piracy System & monitoring)
Sony uses other such automated authentication systems to check accounts, tracking user behaviour, your hardware, firmware and other things.
The way things are worded and the terminology used give us a good idea of how they track what we do and how they do it (read between the lines basically)
Reading this years ago prompted me to research for myself and using the information I have found to keep me from being banned. There isn't much out there.
Serial modders will always eventually get banned. The server picks up on the discrepancies between the data sent and what should be received the more intrusive the alterations to original gaming code the more likely it will be 'Flagged' for monitoring as it would be flagged as an error coming from the person using it (
collection of data for system monitoring/diagnostics - user agreement)
Your 'behaviour' has now triggered an internal system investigation into why the error has happened and will be 'monitored' for further 'errors'.
Also some of codes and offsets used in mods are not mods at all. They are used by Developers to test various elements of games at various times on and offline, normaly using Sonys dev servers, without having to alter them on a PC that's why we can modify the game using these 'debug' offsets because these are not always removed they are just masked and made unaccessible by the player as these elements would then need to recoded to be removed which could create more glitches. causing a delay in production
This will trigger another type of error flag and investigation into why the errors are happening.
70% of the time it's probably your 'behaviour' online triggering internal flags.
30% Probably down to carelessness or lack of knowledge to reduce the risk. Disabled sys calls, incorrectly or poorly spoofing IDPS and stuff. Trying to use stuff online or syncing trophies that don't have the correct credentials eg. nponlineID (PSN account ID) and such triggers investigations into why these things don't have them.
Maybe some of this will give people some more ideas we can do to reduce the risk of bans. I am going to continue investigating Sonys methods. (when I have time)
Basically all you have to do is look at what Sony releases and read between the lines of what they aren't say.
They are like politicians, they tell you what they are doing but a twisted version of it.
And as we keep proving, no matter what they do, we have the time, patience, and skills to work round what they do to stop us.
They would probably give most of us jobs if we weren't doing what they tell us not to do.
Some of this probably looks like verbal crap and thinking WTF is he going on about. especially at the start lol
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
