my Japanese language skills were poor when I tried this game originally. I think I made it to Sunnytown/Sannytown based on it, but there's a new translation: https://github.com/SymphoniaLauren/Tales-of-Rebirth/releases it seems to work. I owned the game, but the little clips for the instruction manual broke off. I read some of the instruction manual based on my limited Japanese skills at the time, and it mentions the flying beast as it calls it, when you can fly. I tried anyway. enjoy.
