Hi everyone,

I'm facing a problem when trying to log in to PSN. Recently, when trying to access my account, I was asked for a QRCODE, but the QRCODE password provided is not working. I've tried several times, but I can't access my account.

Is anyone else experiencing this situation? Is there any known solution to this problem? I appreciate any help or guidance you can provide.

I managed to solve my problem. I don't know why, but when I try to get the device password through the Sony website, it simply doesn't work. So, I tried using the PS app (PlayStation App) from the Play Store, and it worked just fine. I know it's something simple, but I haven't seen anyone solving this on YouTube or any forum or website, and there were many people complaining about the same issue. So, maybe I'll create a detailed tutorial on how to get the device key through the PS App

What the PS App does actually? Because when I generate a code for a device (PS3) using their website, when I insert it as a password in the PS3-PSN Login screen and it goes back to the QRCODE screen everytime.
I'm really tired of that, maybe I just have to forget PSN in PS3? Is there a solution for this QRCODE loop bug? Is it a CFW bug @aldostools ?

possibly. I'm on ofw 4.91, and I just checked if I had issues signing in. I actually have my system setup to sign in automatically when I boot it. I was also going to see if it sent my neutopia save to cloud by just saving in the game (haven't played it yet). it will turn on and send my saves in about twenty minutes, based on the past. anyway, I had no issues signing in on ofw. I don't remember if it asked for a qr code the first time, but I don't think it did. the ps app originally had a problem receiving the sync for my ps3 trophies (had to sign out then sign back in), but now it no longer has that issue. anyway, I've tried just about everything with psn up to now, and psn in general is just buggy. I haven't used microsoft enough, but nintendo doesn't have anywhere near the amount of online problems that seem to occur to me with psn, even being legit, so it could just be a glitch, not necessarily cfw related.

I also tried to activate 2FA and Sony can't activate it because it doesn't send the SMS code to my phone. I never get it, I retried several times. Something isn't right in their network, perphaps.

yeah, it is pretty screwed up. I have biometrics setup on my phone for signing into my account, but I think sony says you can't sign in on the pc without having a method to put your thumbprint. my computer has biometrics as well, but I don't use it with my pc. I find it better to have a touch screen for it than an actual push button for thumb scans, because I've had problems in the past of my thumb scan not working. anyway, I can't sign in on the pc now, because it requires biometrics on playstation's website. there's no way that I know of to opt for your password instead of your thumbprint now. Nintendo allows either online, so you're not confined to one or the other if you select one. it's messed up for sure.

edit: nm, I figured it out just now. it will use the thumbprint on your phone, but the pc and phone must be close to one another, real close.

The site has been bugged since the introduction of this feature. When you access the page again, it will not show the generated password, so you need to create new passwords if you forget or type it wrong.
Sometimes I need to generate multiple passwords because they simply don't work.
Generating passwords through the app works 100% of the time for me.

Now I'm getting this error code: 8071053D.

I don't get it. I can login with my PS4. So I think it's not a network error in my end because I also tested with my firewall off and I got the same error in my PS3.

I think I have the first stable release of Evilnats latest firmware (before the new betas). Maybe this is an old bug not present in the betas?

I discovered how to fix.
It's related to webmanMOD.

Just delete the file /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res/npsignin_plugin.rco

So probably you just need to do these final steps:

Download the PlayStation APP in your Smartphone.
- Go to settings and find something about Account Profile, Privacy or Security (I don't remember exactly)

You will be redirected to a PlayStation Account Screen.
- enable Two-Step Verification [Mandatory]
- create a code for your Device [Mandatory]

Now with that code you, go to your PS3:
- first disable the CFW with Webman Mod [Mandatory]
- then in the PSN login screen, type in the password field, the device code that you created earlier.

Good luck!
