PS2 Problem PS2 90000

My ps2 slim 90000 does not work dvd games and the motors do not turn, replace the entire optical unit and motors and flat cable with new accessories a low buzzing sound nothing moves but if I press a button that is above that on/off switch the lens moves, this switch if there is a problem the motors do not start?
