PS3 problem reader (SUPER SLIM)

Hello, well these days I opened my ps3 for cleaning, as I do every month, but when I reassembled it, I realized that the reader did not work, the reader tried to rotate the discord but it's like it was something getting in the way, that little black ribbon that he had on him looked like he was trying to go in the.
I thought it was a poorly connected flat cable, when I saw that the flat cable that connects under the power supply, it was half crumpled and half loose.
But that's ok because I could buy another flat cable without problems, but I took it to a technical assistance, in case the technician already had one there, it's really cheap.
But the technician asked to take a look, and said that my reader was burnt, I didn't understand much, but he told me that I had touched something I couldn't, and the reader was burnt.

Now I want to know, the player burned, it tries to rotate but fails? or it spins and does not open the game?
Could it be that it's blown or could it be the problem with that flat cable with problem/missing?

i would say that it is the missing cable.

Remove the top cover, as if to disassemble it, at the base where the reader has a key, if you lower it the disk will spin.
without the cover and with it on, press it with your finger and observe:
if the disc is spinning, but the player does not move backwards or forwards, the flat cable below the power supply is damaged or poorly connected. this happened to me a few weeks ago but it was just a bad fit.
when the disc reaches maximum rotation, you will see that the player emits (or at least should emit if it is working) a blue light that goes through the blu ray disc, it's normal.

Just a question, why do you open your PS3 EVERY month?!! sorry for the question, but every month i think it's an exaggeration, i open mine every 8 months and the folder is still good, just dust :)(temp from 62~68C at 30% fan)

I guess what the technician said that was burnt was the laser (sometimes named "laser pickup")
When the laser is dead you are able to insert/eject discs, and the discs will spin when you insert them... but instead of detecting them you will hear a "click" noise repeated lot of times (is the blind laser trying to focus in the disc surface). After a bunch of "clicks" it will stop spinning the disc

Try to insert different discs and try to play them, CD-audio, DVD-video, BD-game
Sometimes it happens that the laser was partially burnt and it will be able to play some of that formats but not the others

You should make a video of how it's behaving. I had some "good times" with these drives, that imo are better and simple than the other PS3 models. If your drive lights up both lasers blue/red, then the laser is alive and something else is failing (if your drive was working good, then it should be good). If the laser doesn't want to spin, it could be the sensor that works with the cover, the one that activates the drive, or some of the flexs are not well connected. If it's totally dead, then it could be the fuse that's under the syscon chip, aside the chip that controls power on rotors.
