Problem with CFW MD5

Helloo.
I downloaded latest version of rebug CFW. Checked MD5 with app WinMD5 and it match with the one in rebug website.
But when i copy it on usb flash drive or move the CFW in any folder the MD5 changed.

What is causing the random MD5 change? What app are you using to check MD5? Maybe this is my problem.

I also use WinMD5 and have never had this issue. The MD5 hash for Rebug REX 4.82.2 should be 6eead68f81a66502294fd329d4087106 and if it's anything else then something has been changed. I'd recommend trying another hash checker program, of which there are numerous available for free online.

the point of that virus to take up all available space. I think that's what it's supposed to do on the px, but it can piggyback its way to your ps3 via ftp. I've never experienced, this problem. it's suggested to have a password system in place for whenever you ftp. wmm can do that.

As far as i know there is no virus on my system.
A file should not change his MD5 when moving it from a folder to a different folder of the same device (like moving it from folder X to folder Y both in the same the hdd of your pc)

The MD5 could change at the time you move it only if you move it to a different device (like from pc hdd to a usb flash stick)... and only if the other device have some damage either in the filesystem (software) or bad blocks/sectors (hardware)

Bad blocks on Your USB media? If this is HDD, check the S.M.A.R.T or better the surface. If this is flash, check each sector writing-reading.

On Windows I prefer HashTab, on Linux there is cli app called just md5, or similar to HashTab Nemo extension (if You using this file manager, needs also gtkhash). 7-Zip (in GUI) also provide checksums calculations. I never used Your program, but it is also worth a try another one.
