PS3HEN Problem with Multi-Disc PS2 Games on PS3 HEN

so, i'm having abit of an issue with games like "Xenosaga Episode 2" and "Shadow Hearts: Covenant"
aswell as many others.. as they require 2 discs to fully play the games, how do i go about making the proper PKG that lets me swap between the discs? I tried making 2 separate PKG's for each disc of a game and when booting up the "Disc 2" PKG it asks me to place Disc 1 in my system.
Help would really be appreciated, thank you.

What I did was went into the folder for disc one and copied the memroy card to disc 2s folder.

It would be dev_hdd0/game/<game id>/usrdir/savedata/.

So for Xenosaga disc 1 it would be dev_hdd0/SLUS20469/usrdir/savedata/

If you just want to put both discs in 1 pkg you can use PS2 Classics GUI. This is the tutorial I initially followed last year when HAN was still the best thing out. https://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-convert-psx-ps2-psp-games-for-ps3xploit-3-0-han.16690/

Still works the same on HEN. I personally rather have the custom made pkg's installed and launchable from XMB.

I tried to do it through ps2 classics GUI and I never could get it to work.

Hmm can't seem to find where it mentions converting 2 PS2 ISO'S into 1 PKG, I'm blind as a bat though hahaha

I've never tried multi-disc games. I use that method to transfer saves between Digital Devil Saga 1 to 2, and it worked fine. Maybe you could try to create the PKG to Shadow Hearts Covenant disc 2 again using the save from disc 1. I would think that just putting it your ../PS2U10000/USRDIR/SAVEDATA in the PS2 Classics GUI folder.

My bad I was thinking of a psx tool I use that's capable of doing this. Thought there was a setting in ps2 classics gui for some reason lol.

Not too sure..
It just requires you to place disc 1 in the console while that screen is up which isn't possible

I haven't tried it myself. but the developer clams that it can create munti-dic pkgs.

I read the comments and the developer mentioned that it can make Multiple PKG's at once but skipped on the question about making multiple PKG's into one PKG like Xenosaga etc..
