problems installing PS2classics launcher rebug edition.

Im running CFW 4.70.1_D_REX my console is model CHECH L01

I've installed the ps2 classics launcher rebug edition, activated the RAP via PSN patch, in multiman normal mode selected my ISO, I've moved my ISO.BIN.ENC into /dev_hdd0/game/PS2U1000/USRDIR/ . then on step 6 i was a little bit confused about what to do? but anyways I've pressed x triangle and L2 while in XMB, then I've connected the ps3 controller to the ps3 and booted up the launcher.

I keep getting a black screen and feel like I'm missing steps? I've also tried to activate the ps2 classics by pressing R1 in psn patch, I've also in the rebug toolbox tried (set game OS boot flag) which says (fixes issue loading ps2 titles if otherOS is installed.

I also feel like i may be in wrong settings? so here are the settings im running in the toolbox.. if it matters?

system mode: rebug
XMB operation mode: debug
Debug menu type: CEX QA
toggle webMAN: enabled

AND all LV1 patches disabled

if anyone can help i truly appreciate any insight. thanks

check on root of ps3 hdd to see if you have a file ps2classics

yes correct, so when you press ++ again for one it should briefly tell you in upper right corner "PS2 Classic Enabled" then check dev_hdd0 again you should now have the file "classic_ps2"

Also I just check my LV1 Patches in toolbox

• LV1 Peek/Poke Support
• Skip all ACL Checks

are both 'Enabled' did you change these on your system

I didn't have either enabled so i enabled them, also i am trying the thing and it's not seeming to work, where exactly should i be when im doing that?

in XMB, now when you press it'll bring up the XMB menu as it usually does, just keep pressing the button combo till you see "PS2 Classic Enabled" but only that as the same button combo also disables

no such luck, the thing doesn't seem to be working for me, no idea why that'd be.

Is there by chance a better CFW for me to install? all I'm looking to do is do ps1,ps2,psp backups

Use this pkg https://mega.co.nz/#!VUtRCCbC!nH9873dB-emKGHxEB76GvIZkVGAaYekcOLxz1VaiLM0, install it, then run "Cobra CFW Tools", select "Enable PS2 Classics", then select no to reboot. it'll put the fill on dev_hdd0 for you then try to run placeholder
