I'm not sure what the problem could be. another member had this same problem with 7.55. I had no issues with it on 5.05. you just have to use ps4debug.bin. either use the one from your cached exploits or netcat gui with bin loader. I'm not sure if the port is 9020 or 9021, because it's changed a bit on 7.55 or so I've heard, if you use bin loader. once you do that. open, account activator, enter your ps4's ip, then select get users. see if your user is listed, then copy and paste your account id (can even make one up), then click I think "set." after that, select get users again to see if it went through.

you'll know if the account is activated, because when you try to log in to that user, the name will be italicized. if you do the avatar mod with the json file, the account name will no longer be italicized. in place of that will be your first and last name or whatever you put in the json. I think it's supposed to be your first and last name officially, so I just input the made up ones I created with the psn account I made on playstation.com.

if you want your real account id, use Leeful's script. you just need to drag and drop the homepage of your signed in playstation id on playstation.com. the account id is in decimal format, which you can get by debugging the page, but the script will do that for you, then convert it to hex, which is the one the system uses. this works for ps3, vita, ps4, and probably ps5 as well, because it's all done the same way. good luck.

Thanks, I'll try what you tell me, I'll cross my fingers, I hope it works for me.

I wasn't sure if something was wrong with it, but two people on temp mentioned using account activator on 7.5x and having no issues with it. you are using the port by @Joonie , right? he includes the ps4debug.bin you need iirc. if something is wrong with yours and your self-hosting, you can replace the payload bin file very easily, just make sure it's named whatever your host used for the name, and you should encounter no problems. remember to delete cache first before upgrading.
