PS3 Problems with .enc ps2 games on hen

Hello, I'm having a problem with playing some PS2 games using the placeholder + PS2 Manager on a ps3 super slim.
I think the config files that are needed for some games to work properly are not working. I have the ps2config PKG installed and I also tried to download the config files, change their names to the same as the enc game files (with ".config" at the end) and it didn't work. Trying to change the .enc files names to have the game code between parenthesis was another solution I came across, but that just makes the games to stop showing on the PS2 manager altogether.
Does someone have a solution to this problem? Thank you very much in advance.

I forgot to say that I'm converting the isos to .inc with the ps2 manager itself. Do I need to put the enc files in the root ps2iso folder or is there a way I can maintain the folder configuration while also making the config files work?

Ok so I just set one up for my little brother as he got gifted a Super Slim. Converted the PS2 games to ISO.BIN.ENC then made folders named as such

NBA Street [SLUS 20187]

Then place the encrypted PS2 game into the root folder. Then placed the CONFIG file in the folder and it MUST BE named identical. So it will look something like this

SLUS20187.ISO.BIN.ENC

And then renamed the CONFIG to

SLUS20187.CONFIG

Then dropped it into the

NBA Street [SLUS 20187]

folder together. Then drop that into PS2ISO. You do not have to use a folder so long as the two files are named exactly the same it will work.

Now if you are using webMAN @aldostools was nice enough to have access to the full set using his plugin. Then you can just place the ISO.BIN.ENC in the PS2ISO folder and so long as that file matches the name of the CONFIG it will apply upon loading with webMAN.

I chose my way for a few reasons. With my setup I can easily find and swap CONFIG files for games with multiple or maybe testing a new one. I just append the file with _1 _2 etc. Makes swapping easy and I get to use my own naming but you can choose for yourself.

Edit

Also the files are case sensitive for the ISO.BIN.ENC & CONFIG and aldos was nice enough to not only get the PKG on GitHub but also has readme for them if you need a better reference.

And last but not least you can usually answer 99.9% of your own questions with the search function. Find it the quickest way as there isn't too many things that are left to be discovered as I pulled all the info off our forums. I needed a refresher. Some will just scroll past a topic like this but I try to help when I can. Good luck and if you need anything feel free to message me or just post
