Proper Operation of Rebug To Play Online (Too Much Outdated Info Online)

Forum Noob
I have started a new thread for a conversation about Newer Rebug (4.81) and proper techniques for online play.

Back in late 2015 and Early 2016 I used to use PSN Patch to disable CFW when I wanted to play any games online.

But now with Webman-Mod and latest features in Rebug it looks like many features have been integrated not requiring additional software packages (Such as PSN Patch and PSN Ninja)

I want to ask if I am doing this right.

Facts:
1) My PSN code has NOT been banned.
2) I do not play online often (normally when I do I use my original game discs to play)
3) My old Setup I used PSN Patch only to Disable CFW (Holding X when launching PSN Patch)

Now My System I am using:

Rebug 4.81 CEX (Rebug and Cobra Enabled + Clear Cache Enabled)
Webman-MOD 1.45.05
Rebug Toolbox (Latest)

So if I wanted to play online this is what I believe I should be doing:

1) Open Webman-MOD and Load my game ISO
2) Hold R1+Triangle (Clears Cache and Syscalls)
3) Launch Game from Disc Icon

Now is it really this simple now? I want to make sure I am following proper process as most documentation is several years old and contains a lot of outdated data.

Thank You.

You could take it one set further and unload webMAN pressing L3, R3 & R2 to unload webMAN mod and the ability to use plugins, background FTP etc. I don't ever use it but I don't play online either I just use the PSN Store.

Edit

When I do occasionally get talked into online play I use a separate PSN ID, spoof a different IDPS if using a backup but 9 out of ten times I just use a dual boot firmware with a small 20gb HDD. It is more less a OFW just allows one to be able to reinstall a CFW again without a hardware flasher. That is the safest way possible. A tad slower using an optical drive but keeps the hundreds of dollars I spent on PS Store safe.

Ok sounds good. But are my steps correct? I know if I really wanted I could get my hands on a good set of PSN ID's and ect from a good PS3 unit and then set those ID's in Rebug as well (I might do it anyways someday if I get the chance).

If I unload Webman will I still be able to launch the mounted ISO? I am just curious if I still have the ability to play one of my ISO's online if I choose after taking these steps.

As I said there is so much old info online and there has been so many great advances in how things work. I want to clearly outline for myself and other players how we should be doing things now. :)

Check my edit above but yea here is what I would do in this order.

Load ISO via webMAN
Then press Triangle and R2 to remove syscalls and clear history via PSN Patch
Then unload webMAN pressing L3, R3 & R2
Connect to PSN
Launch ISO & play

You will have to reboot to change games and rinse and repeat to change games. But it's the safest way possible to play online using a backup.

If you get a backup IDPS&PSID PSN Patch can take care of loading that as well. And I still highly suggest using a different account unless you are a trophy junkie. Then you gotta take a little risk of losing your PSN account. While we can fix a system ban with a new set of numbers you can't reverse an account ban. That happened to me the first time and lost so much money, luckily ReActPSN reactivate my games as when Sony bans you they disable all the stuff you bought from PS Store as well.

You mount the game before unloading wMM.
Once the game is mounted it doesn't need webMAN-MOD to run anymore.
Don't forget to check the Unload WMM combo box at the bottom of the wMM setup page then save the settings.

Also after you trigger psnpatch, you cannot change game because no backup managers will work due to syscalls being disabled & you don't want to add suspicious entries to the history anyway.
When you want to change game or use any cfw feature, you must reboot & start the psnpatch process all over again once you are ready to go online..

Great. Then I will get PSNPatch all setup again.

I am not using it to spoof right now so I will just configure it with my actual PSN codes. I am using PSN Patch for its ability to disable CFW features from my understanding :)

Eventually I can update it with an alternative known good set of ID's as described above.
