The sound it makes and what it could mean is hard to know without hearing it. The sound could be normal, or it could be that the mechanism needs maintenance. If you can play your games without problems then don't worry about it.

when i put the cd it's not spine at all why?

You just said it worked perfectly. If the drive no longer spins you may have damaged it when you used the 12v power adapter. At this point you are better off selling the system as broken and buying a working system. And be certain that you use the correct power adapters from now on.
