I'm new here at PSX-Place and I wanted to post a personal project of mine for PS3 (called PS-Paint) but... I can't post it anywhere because my account is new... How do I acquire access to post my project without any problems?

Unrelated but since ur a homebrew dev I have a question, do any of the PS3 SDK's provide access to the RSX? I'm 99% sure there's no way to use the PS3's GPU in homebrew applications but I just wanna make sure

Dropping a homebrew is a fantastic way to make an introduction. Lol welcome.... Nice job.

Does your brew use the PS3 move controllers as well for this! What kinds of paint features are in your app? Is your code open source?

Cheers

Wrong, both sdks (official and open-source psl1ght) support RSX and you can use the GPU without issues.

The only case where you can't use RSX is under Linux, but there's a project to build a linux driver for it. (Google "Rene rsx linux")

Huh.. If that's the case then how come 3d homebrew is so rare? PS3 has been mostly cracked wide open since 2011-2012, is the PS3 really that difficult to develop for when it comes to 3d applications or was there just not much enthusiasm for it?

It seems to be a GameMaker project ported with GayMaker.
Well, it's a Gamemaker project... I intend to study to make sure this project isn't just a port of a Gamemaker project.

I've been wanting to post my PS3 painting homebrew here for a while now, but... I don't know how to classify it (Of course, when I'm free to post outside of The Starting Line).
So, my homebrew isn't necessarily a game, but it's not exactly an app either because it was programmed in GML in Gamemaker... How the hell would I classify it?
