PS1 PS1 Memory Card Unformatted and Failed Format on PS2.

This is the problem. My PS1 memory card is unformatted, however, when I tried formatting it, it fails. This on my new and slim PS2. I've tried Memory Card Annihilator and it doesn't work. This happens every time. How can I fix this issue?

What this card contains? OSDSYS and MCA will fail formatting if You have on it Free PSX Boot. I heard that MC Killer can format such card.

But probably it is just broken. ;]

What I meant was if you have a PS1 console to try your memory card. Sometimes the PS2 can't read PS1 memory cards.

Maybe it just has dust, remove the screws and clean the "sheets" with an eraser or isopropyl alcohol.

It doesn't have FreePSXBoot.

Ok? But the multi tap could be expensive. Anyway, my PAL PS2 slim is SCPH-77003 (changed to DTL-77001 US using MechaPwn). I can't even wire the pin to the controller port, it can be so hard.
