Hi all,
So I've just discovered GSM on PS2 and I absolutely love the quality it produces when forcing 1080i on my HDTV. But I'm running into a problem with cut scenes in between gameplay. The audio and video fall out of sync as the video moves way ahead of the audio. I've tried searching about sync issues using GSM and I can't find ANYTHING, Is there any way to fix this? Am I doing something wrong?
I've tested quite a couple games (Ratchet & Clank, Project Eden, Simpsons Road Rage) and it seems to be happening with all of them. I've tried launching the games from both disc and OPL (I have games on my internal HDD) and the result is still the same. Gameplay is absolutely fine, it only happens in cutscenes.
Just incase the following information is important, this is the sequence order of me booting a game...
I'm using Matrix Infinity Modchip to boot DEV2, which instantly loads GSM v0.38 when I turn my PS2 on. After setting the quality to 1080i, I then exit back to the PS2 browser where I have FHDB installed. From there I can either boot games directly from disc or boot games from my internal HDD using OPL (I don't know the current version of OPL that I'm using, it's just the default version that comes in the FHDB zip).
