Whenever I try to emulate PS2 games on my CRT using my composite cables, the game loads in the XMB, when I select it, it loads, then screen flashes, then PS3 crashes with 2 beeps and red flashing light. The crash logs give me error code A0802022 which appears to be an HDMI error from my research.
So I tried using HDMI to another display instead of the composite cables, and everything works fine with the PS2 emulation. Can reboot, load different games, no errors at all.
So PS2 emulation works on HDMI, but not on composite/AV.
This is on a CECH-2001A.
PS1 and PS3 games work fine, just PS2 has the issue.
