PS2 PS2 FAT - Alternative SILENT FAN (not noisy like the original)

Hello everyone,
I just got a PS2 FAT SCPH-39004 and the fan is very noisy (like all PS2).
So, I'm looking for a silent replacement witht he following technical features:

• Dimension 60x60x15 mm
• Powered 7v (seven, not 5v or 12v)
• Connector 2 Pin

Do you have any suggestions?
Any Brand-Model?

As alternative, is it possible to use a 12v FAN?

Noctua fans are the silent fan to use. They are very popular in the PC fan scene for their great performance and low noise.

Unfortunately, I'm looking for an internal FAN that does not impact the design of the console.

I got a Gembird D6015SM-3

It is very silent 12V fan.
And of course you have to fiddle to exchange the connector.
The resulting temperature is hand-warm: about 25 degrees C on heavy use.

Any external fan is going to be pretty quiet on a 3000x model.
Ive done some testing and even the stock one is silent when mounted outside the main chassis - this is because the majority of the noise is being caused by the fan being right next to the ridged heatsinks & air being drawn over them to create a whistling effect.

Imo unless the fan is significantly thinner, any internal fan mod will be useless.

To hijack this thread a little - does anyone know the name of the power connector that the original PS2 fan uses?
I dont want to cut my original power connector off, in case i need to revert my change.

Currently, I have the following:

Its a 5v, 2pin fan that meets the original fans dimensions, but the power plug is in format XH2.54-2P, which wont fit the original plug.

I'm looking on Aliexpress and I discovered some connectors names, example:

• 2PIN-XH2.54
• 2PIN-DuPont
• 2PIN-2510
• 3PIN-2510 (this is a 3 PIN, i listed it just for info..)

I really don't know what is the right FAN connector for Playstation 2..
