PS2 PS2 Fat MC/Joystick Port Replacement.

Hello! I would like to ask if it is possible to use a PS2 Fat 3000x MC/Joystick port as a replacement on a 3900x model? My question is because I see that one has a chip integrated into the PCB and the other does not.

Hi there. Having done a few swaps in the past - as long as it fits I don't see an iusse. The problem may be the height/depth of the board/connector at the back as shown in your photos. If the unit will close though, it should still work.
