ps2 games turn off my ps3

hi guys i have a problem with my ps3 fat 80gb.
I can't play any ps2 games on my ps3, I initially tried with hen, but the games when they started made the ps3 turn off. After I tried to install rebug 4.86 and the same thing always happens.
The games have been installed both in pkg and in iso.
The games tested are: DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3, DBZ Infinite World and Bully.
How can I solve it?

PS. PS3 disc Games works, but DB Raging Blast installed on hdd doesnt work

hen will not play ps2 isos.

if your ps3 is a fat then you should jailbreak and install cfw (like rebug). ps2 isos will play then. you can use the bgtoolset to jailbreak. when its done flashing just reboot and install cfw pup.

bully should work just as iso so try to get it playing first. for others you should check this list. you also need ps2 classics placeholder if not already installed. i use webman to mount.

The games are supported, I also tried your suggestion with the installation of PS2 Classics Placeholder but the result is always that the PS3 shuts down after a few seconds from the start of the ps2 game.

The curious thing is that games last longer with fans set to "sysconf" than with all other configurations in webMAN

having the same issue with my fat ps3. Did you find any solution?

make sure the config file is there and its the right file(download and copy them from aldos datatbase if not sure). also from experience some games only work for me if I check the video option(?) or the fix for the vertical(?) scan in managunz. those games should work but they crash unless i do that so hope this helps.

Weird I'm on the new hfw and hen and a superslim I can play PS2 games but only some. Certain games also turn off my system or get black screen

GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas are the PS2 games I know work on it although they lag a little

Anyone know how to fix this I can upload video of working one vs not working one if needed to get more of an idea


I do know NFS most wanted 2005 crashes my system but why do those 2 GTA games work? When there all PS2 titles.

NOTE : there not PS2 iso I'm using I'm using PKG version of PS2 Games
