PS2 Intro Loader

PS2 PS2 Intro Loader v1.0

I hate to necrobump threads but I'm struggling with this. When I first run the elf to create the INTRO folder, it just goes to a black screen and does nothing. After doing a hard shutdown, there's no new folder on my MC. I tried running it from the MC and USB plus I renamed BOOT.ELF to avoid it being detected to force it back to browser. No matter what I do, it just goes to a black screen.

Any ideas on what could cause this?

Doesn't want to load OPL at all and just blackscreens afterwards. I've seen a few tutorials of this on Youtube but its all in Spanish and Portuguese so its no help. any ideas?

It's pretty particular about where it is looking for elf locations and the config file. Try having your fmcb card in slot 2 to boot the intro loader.

Have a read through the earlier posts and the examples in the zip and readme.

Black screen is typically because it cannot find the next .elf file or video file.

Use the example video file on a usb drive before customising further.

Also put opl on the MC card also.

i already was using the example video avi already when attempting this. OPL was already on my MC also. For some reason if I dont edit the config it will successfully boot to ulef anyways, same goes if it cant find my exit it will boot to browser as it should. I just cant seem to figure out why it wont work at all with OPL or anything else since the elfs are all in mc1:BOOT/ anyways.

Can you post your config file? Make sure the path name is correct and capitalisation of all folders and file names (also ensure the correct backslash symbol is used...see examples in readme )

If that setup still doesnt work for whatever reason, the alternative is to configure ule to autoboot opl (its less ideal as it adds to the boot time).
