I have 2 consoles in my hands a working black(50009 fat ) and a problem satin silver(50009 fat).I borrow a fat satin silver ps2 50009 and has a strange problem with the lens or the disk tray or idk.First of all the console was in a closet in dirty external condition full of cigarette and it was ok on internal no dust only smells for about 18 years at least and was sealed by sticker guarantee, I am the first person who ever open it. Before disassemble and clean the console I test it and i saw when I put a ps2 disk reading ,appearing in menu(memory card menu i mean), recognize excellent spinning etc but when I choose it to play I have a black screen and then it goes back to menu and said no data like something the disk its empty or something(disk game is excellent condition because i have a 2nd working black ps2 50009 console).Cd disk with music playing excellent, DVD disk with movies no working either and stuck in black screen (DVD menu when I click select button for pause movie etc working), So I clean everything I assembled again and i have the same problem, then I decide to change the "bad" laser (hd7 on satin silver console) with the working laser in my 2nd working fat console and the "bad" laser (hd7) from my satin silver console working perfectly excellent on my 2nd black working console, then I took the "good" laser from my 2nd black console to put it silver console and I have again the same problem, finally I decide to change all the disk tray with the lasers on it and guess what ? again the "bad" (hd7) and the good laser working perfectly on 2nd black console and don't working on satin silver, so the lasers and disk trays both of them are perfect, what is going on with satin silver console if the lasers are perfect?
