PS2 PS2 Slim and FHDB/HDDOSD

I have ps2 with internal HDD mod, I, obviously, know any updates from HDD were disabled but I need to run FHDB/HDDOSD using FMCB as entry point but I don't know what I need to do so. I have already installed HDDOSD from SUDC4 and FHDB from SP193's installer v1.966. Do I need any additional steps or something?

Except for this, everything works as intended.

(Question for staff, why can't I upload a file in private messages? I have no option.)

Could you give me a link to the tutorial of the HDD mod?
A friend wants to make it, but since there isn't enough info in spanish I'm helping him to find everything that we can

I'm sorry, I went through complete set bought. I just know I have this. Link. :) And sorry if the link doesn't work, I have set from maxdiypower for 7k models.

Thank you Sp193, I have to do this like 8 years ago on my 70001,and you helped me in psx-scene

Now the drive died and have to do the whole thing again, and I couldn't remember how it was. So thank you again for the answer.

By the way, if you install fmcb and fhdb, you will have 2 splash screen of fmcb and fhdb at startup.

I finally opted to only install fmcb and hddosd, so I only get one screen at startup.

ANY PS2 can install FMCB... Yes, FDVDB can be used on Slims (and some FAT) to install FMCB.

The question is, if it BOOTS.

And would it boot in the SCPH-90000 models? I guess it wouldn't make sense to be able to install it in those models but not boot it afterwards.

No... tested on all my models Wich need HDDLOAD.IRX excluding the 18k because the PCMCIA cover still has the factory sticker untouched

So:
 • 70011
 • 10000 (1.00)
 • 10000 (1.01)
All of them no modchip

Depends on the BOOT-ROM Version.

Hm... Doesn't do it on mine, AFAIR...
AFAIK SP193 specifically coded that thing... Calling FHDB from FMCB with an argument and not displaying the logo.

I lost HDD from my 70003 silver but HDD as SD card (internal mod) in 70004 does that. I have 2 FMCB logos, one from MC, second from FHDB.
