I've got a few KHM-430 laser assembly, but I don't know how to load the proper configuration data to an SCPH-77004.
With the default eeprom, the system only reads cds, it mostly reads dvds too, if diagnosis is on.
I tried lenschanger, but using any of the available three database, the system reads dvds, but not cds.
I had an scph75004, in that system the laser worked fine, it read cds and dvds, too.
I dumped the eeprom, and I've loaded that eeprom to an other scph-75004 and laser worked quite well after with that other system, too. I know this method is not the best by far, but there is no calibration software available publicly that is compatible with scph-77004. I tried to load the 75004's eeprom to the scph-77004, too, and it started reading cds and dvds, too, but the sled started behaving a bit strange. I am not surprised, I guess the 77000 series have a slightly different eeprom layout
If I am not wrong lenschanger doesn't overwrite the whole eeprom just the calibration data. Is there a known method to extract the cd/dvd calibration data from the dumped scph-75004 eeprom and patch the scph-dumped 77004 eeprom with it?
