Are you talking about 4.82 OFW or CFW? What firmware are you currently on and what model PS3 as well? This will help determine if your console can be jailbroken because if not, the exploit won't work (likely to cause a system brick) and neither will CFW such as Rebug REX 4.82.2 which you referenced in your thread title.
